One of the biggest mistakes I see people make when creating content is asking their audience IF they need something. Instead, talk to the person who KNOWS they need it. This shift changes everything from convincing people why they should do what you teach and hire you, to speaking directly to those who already want what you have to offer.

Here's how we would shift this post:

If you are talking to coaches who want to grow their business
Use your story, authority, value, and sell

Example:

I remember when I was just getting into coaching from VA/OBM services. I felt like an imposter, had no certification, and no real proof that coaching would work for me.

Up to this point, I had made inconsistent $5k months but deeply wanted a 6-figure business. After 5 exhausting years of spinning my wheels, I made the jump to coaching group. $3k/12 months of working with me.

I was terrified. I had never charged this much, but I had 5 freaking years of business experience. I had grown an agency, worked with tons of clients, and had tons of testimonials.

Here was the one thing that took me from low-ticket offers, scared to sell, and barely making $5k months to making $10k months on REPEAT each month and selling $10k packages:

Embodying my next-level self. Before I was a 6-figure coach, I had to act, think, feel, and operate my business from this space. I had to get into the confidence, energy, and business moves that I would be making if I was at 6 figures.

Would I be scared to sell group coaching then? No.

Would I be scared to charge $3k then? No.

Would I be scared to show up and talk to people? No.

Getting Good at Content & Communication

When creating content, your posts should incorporate your personality all the time. Be who you naturally are as a person (not professional or buttoned up), just being real, raw, and YOU + authority, value, storytelling, connecting, and selling.

Every single post should reflect this. When you can write your content with all of those elements, you naturally become the "it" coach - the go-to, the obvious choice.

Learn how to communicate to your audience as if they are your best friend or best client that you would give this advice to.

Instead of trying to find the perfect template, or what every one else is doing or how to say it. Say it like you would just tell someone out loud. When you can master this in your content you become the GO TO that people want to work with. You get it. You relate and you are a real un-perfect human that they want to learn from because they KNOW that you understand them. 


Owning your strengths and unique qualities is the foundation of a successful coaching business. It requires you to get over yourself and your own mind drama, focus more on being a thought leader for your clients and audience, and show tf up.

Stop worrying about what people think, what they will say, or what your family might think or say. Instead, SHOW UP. Being better at being YOU will get you paid as a coach, mentor, or personal brand. (Which, hint, all of you have.)

It’s about OWNING your unpopular opinions, magic, & what you ACTUALLY want to say versus trying to find the perfect strategy or post to create to bring in clients


Clients will hire you AND are hiring coaches who are being unapologetically them, who are not afraid to bring their personality and flavor to their business, who walk the walk, & who show them this is what I have done, been through, & how I can help you do the same. 

The Shift from Convincing to Connecting

Here's the shift from convincing people why they should do what you teach and hire you to talking directly to the people who already know they want what you have to offer.

Here is an example: 

Think about the person who is already searching for solutions and ready to take action. Rather than asking, "Are you ready to grow your business?" say, "You're ready to scale your business to new heights, and I’m here to guide you."

For example, instead of saying, "If you need help growing your business, I can help," try this:
Listen up, coach! I see you hustling hard, posting, doing the mindset work, creating offers, yet stuck at that same old income level. You've got the skills, you are good at what you do, people tell you all the time, and you have the drive. Now it's time to step up your content game & embody your IT ENERGY. With my content magic strategy we will take your audience from oh my gosh you are so motivational to where do I sign up to work with you immediately! 

Here's a real-life transformation story:

A client of mine, had been struggling to attract high-ticket clients. She was great at what she knew and showed up consistently but kept asking her audience if they needed help instead of assuming the sale. We shifted her messaging to speak directly to her ideal clients, showcasing her expertise and confidence. Within three months, she went from inconsistent $5k months to consistent $10k months, booking clients who were excited to work with her because they saw her as the authority in her niche vs just being motivated by her content and friend zoning her!

This approach eliminates doubt and positions you as the expert who already knows what your clients need and can deliver results.

Remember:
Speak with confidence: Assume your audience is ready and willing to take the next step.
Showcase your authority: Share stories of transformation and success.
Provide value: Educate and inspire through your content.
