I know what it’s like to have nothing.
I grew up in a small town, raised by a single mom in a trailer. By 23, I was seven months pregnant with $100 to my name, wrecked credit, and no degree. I left an abusive relationship as a single mom with no money, no plan, and no idea how I would make it.
And I know what it’s like to choose different.
